October is the month of the Rosary, so let's make the most of it! In this special month, our Heavenly Mother Mary has so many graces in store for us, and she is particularly generous in answering the prayers entrusted to her care.
On October 7, the Church celebrates Our Lady of the Rosary. This feast was instituted after the great military victory of Lepanto, miraculously won in 1571 against the Turkish fleet thanks to the intercession of Mary. Pope Saint Pius V had asked all the faithful to pray the Rosary to implore the assistance and protection of the Virgin Mary in anticipation of this battle. In thanksgiving, he instituted this feast and dedicated the month of October to the daily recitation of the Rosary.
Throughout history, millions of graces have been granted to people who brought their needs prayerfully to the Blessed Virgin Mary, especially by offering a Rosary to her. You too can receive the graces you desire, by sharing your requests with our prayer community, who will be happy to say a Rosary for your intentions.
May the Blessed Mother, Our Lady of the Rosary, watch over you and lead you to her Son, our Savior Jesus Christ.
